Employee Benefits and Incentives
Tcchc offer their employees a wide and comprehensive range of benefits and employee incentive programs. We believe in taking care of our employees as well as we take care of our patients.
The following are just a few of the benefits and incentives available to our employee’s system-wide.
- Annual leave: is accrued at each pay period from the initial start date. Annually a new employee can accumulate up to 96 hours for hourly employees and 144 hours for exempt employees dependent upon number of hours worked. Sick leave is in a separate bank.
- Sick Time: is accrued at each pay period from the initial start day. Annually a new employee can accumulate up to 96 hours of sick leave dependent upon number of hours worked.
- Holidays: The centers are closed and employees are paid 11 holidays. They are New Year's Day, Martin L. King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), and Christmas (3 Days)
- Bereavement Leave: will be paid for up to two (2) days in case of death of an immediate family member.
- Group Long-Term Disability Insurance: provides disability income to eligible employees, based on their monthly earnings. Eligibility means full-time employees regularly scheduled to work 60 or more hours bi-weekly.
- Family Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA)
Up to 12 weeks paid leave time possible for qualifying employees due to their own serious health condition, the birth or adoption of a child or the serious health condition of an immediate qualifying family member.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP): provides confidential help in coping with problems such as marital and family conflicts, depression, work-related stress, grief and loss, chemical dependency, or legal/financial difficulties with up to 10 free visits per year for employee or employee's household members.
System-wide employee incentives include:
- Employee recognition programs.
- Annual Free holiday celebration meal.
- Employee Wellness programs.
- Employee service awards
- Community Health Center week activities and events.

Tri-County Community Health Council, Inc. is seeking individuals who can volunteer at our Newton Grove center.
Volunteers are needed through out the centers important areas including our Outreach, and Health promotion programs. If you are an individual with good people skills and are available to volunteer for four-hour shifts during the daytime, evenings or weekends, we'd like to hear from you. An orientation to the center and on-the-job training will be provided.
