The center is committed to its goal of improved patient health, staff development and community involvement. We are pleased to be able to provide many services on-site and look forward to serving you.

Who may receive care at Tri-County?
Tri-County provides care to the community members and farmworkers of Sampson, Harnett, Johnston, Bladen and Pender counties, as well as surrounding rural areas. All center services are provided in both English and in Spanish.
Appointment or walk-in?
Tri-County Community Health Center makes every effort to see patients daily on a walk-in basis. We understand that illness is not planned and you may need to see a doctor unexpectedly. However, we encourage all patients to call and make an appointment whenever possible. For an appointment. Call us at 910-567-6194.
There are specific requirements that patients need to bring the following with them when presenting at the clinic on the day of the visit:
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to all appointments (medical and dental)
- Patients must bring Patient account cards issued by TCCHC
- Bring proof of current address
- ALL/ANY insurance cards (private, commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)
- Co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles, and or deposits
What are the costs?
At TCCHC, patients are charged based on a sliding scale, which means that your cost is determined by your salaries and your family size. If you would like to seek eligibility for the sliding scale discount, please bring in proof of family income.
The center accepts North Carolina Medicaid, Medicare, Health Choice and most private insurances. Please bring your insurance card with you for each visit. It is the patient's responsibility to pay the deductible, co-pay or any balance not covered by the insurance. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have about your insurance coverage .

Will I see the same doctor each time I visit?
The center staff encourages all patients to schedule your appointments with the same doctor whenever possible. That way, you will get to know the physician, and the team will be familiar with your health history.
What if I have to go to the hospital?
All of our doctors also have privileges at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. Therefore, the doctors can admit patients directly from the center to the hospital. Also, one of our doctors will be available to see you should you need to go to the hospital.
What about Pediatric Services?
TCCHC, offers "Well Child Checks", school physicals, sports physicals and other routine services to keep your child healthy. The center excels in vaccinating children. Center staff can help with Medicaid and Health Choice applications during your visit. We also offer a WIC program on site.
